Common questions
When do featured listings go live?
Now. This page previously said listings would activate at 50,000 monthly visitors — that gate has been removed and the product is live. Anyone who registered interest under the old founding-rate offer gets that rate honoured.
How many featured slots are there per page?
A maximum of two per category and state combination, rotating so both advertisers get top position. We cap it deliberately — a page stacked with paid cards is worth less to you and less to the contractors reading it.
Does paying change where I appear in the organic listings?
No. A featured placement adds a clearly labelled slot above the organic results. It never reorders, hides, or removes an organic listing, including your competitors.
Do I get a verified badge?
Not for paying. This page used to offer one, and that was wrong — a verification badge that can be bought tells a reader nothing. Verification is earned free by claiming your profile and confirming you control the business.
What size is the audience?
We will tell you exactly, in writing, before you spend anything. Buildermuse is early and our traffic numbers reflect that — we would rather you see them up front than be surprised by the first campaign report. Ask for the media kit.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Month-to-month, no long-term contract, 30 days notice. The founding rate is locked for 12 months.
