Private Sector Bids
General contractors post private work here and trade subcontractors bid it. It is the other half of our federal bid data — same question, what work can I win, opposite sector.
Post the scope
Trade, location, bid date, and a link to your plans. Takes a minute; no file uploads to wrangle.
Verified subs bid
Contractors who have proven they control their company submit sealed bids. Nobody sees anyone else’s number.
You award it
Pick a winner and everyone else is told automatically. No sub is left guessing.
Bids are sealed.
Only the general contractor who posted the job can see the bids on it. No bidder ever sees another bidder’s price, company, or terms — that is enforced by the database, not by a setting we could forget to apply.

What Buildermuse does and does not do
We introduce the parties and keep the bidding sealed. That is the whole service.
Buildermuse is not a party to any contract formed here, does not vet contractors, does not verify licences, insurance, or bonding, and never holds funds. “Ownership verified” means someone proved they control that company’s email or domain — it is an identity check, not an endorsement of their work. Confirm licensing and insurance yourself before you sign anything.
