Buildermuse aggregates data from public government sources including the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), U.S. Census Bureau, USAspending.gov, SAM.gov, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). While we strive for accuracy, data may contain errors, delays, or discrepancies from source agencies.
Construction statistics, material prices, and bid information are provided for informational purposes only and should not be the sole basis for business decisions. Data is refreshed on varying schedules — some daily, some monthly — and may not reflect real-time conditions.
Contractor Directory
Contractor listings are sourced from Google Places API and contractor submissions. Star ratings, review counts, and business information come from Google and are not independently verified by Buildermuse. Inclusion in our directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of quality.
Buildermuse does not verify contractor licenses, insurance, bonding, or certifications. Users should independently verify all contractor credentials before hiring. Contractors can request removal of their listing at any time by contacting support@buildermuse.com.
Bid & Contract Information
Federal bid data is sourced from SAM.gov. State DOT bid data is sourced from individual state transportation department websites. Bid deadlines, amounts, and requirements may change without notice — always verify directly with the issuing agency. Buildermuse is not affiliated with SAM.gov, any federal agency, or any state DOT.
Data Collection
Buildermuse uses Google Analytics for site traffic analysis. Contractor submission forms collect business information as provided by the submitter. We do not sell personal or business information to third parties. Logo files uploaded through submission forms are stored securely and used only for directory listings.
